Make the idea visible.
A drawing should help explain a relationship, not just decorate an answer.
A question rarely ends with the first explanation. CHALK starts with the idea that AI learning tools should leave room for the next one.
A tutor sketches a curve, circles a point, and waits. You ask why. The explanation changes. Suddenly, the idea clicks.
That back-and-forth is the experience CHALK is exploring. I’m bringing conversation and a shared drawing surface together so an AI tutor can work through a concept with someone, rather than simply produce an answer.
The starting focus is maths and physics: subjects where equations, spatial relationships, and changing variables can make a visual explanation particularly useful.
The current result is a working local prototype. The next step is to turn what I’ve learned into a more complete product, shaped by thoughtful conversations with learners, educators, collaborators, and investors.
A drawing should help explain a relationship, not just decorate an answer.
Questions, interruptions, and changing your mind are part of understanding.
Demonstrate the interaction, document the limits, and use them to guide the next version.
I’m a VIT CSE student building CHALK to make learning more conversational and visual. I work on the product and its voice-and-whiteboard system, and I’m looking for learners and collaborators to help shape what comes next.
