1. Scope
This notice covers the CHALK website at ch4lk.tech and its static interactive examples. The website introduces an early-stage startup founded by Shane Sarosh. Questions about this notice can be sent to shane@ch4lk.tech.
The website does not run the full live voice tutor. A future hosted product would need its own disclosures reflecting the features it actually provides.
2. Browsing and interactive examples
The site does not offer accounts, payments, or a web-based contact submission form. The example sliders and topic selections are processed in your browser. The site code does not send those selections to an AI provider or save them to a database.
I have not added advertising pixels, session replay, or third-party marketing analytics to the site code. The site code does not set cookies or use browser local storage.
Early-access waitlist
The waitlist is managed by email. Clicking the signup link opens a prepared message in your email application; it does not register you or send anything automatically. When you send the message, I receive your email address and any optional details you include.
I use these details to maintain the CHALK early-access list, send availability updates, and offer invitations to try the tutor. I do not sell the list or use it for unrelated promotions. To leave, reply “unsubscribe” to an update or email shane@ch4lk.tech. I will remove you from the active list; correspondence may remain in the email system or backups while needed for an associated obligation. Email services process the messages involved in delivery.
3. Hosting and infrastructure
Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website. Providing and protecting a website can involve processing technical information such as IP addresses, request details, traffic routing data, and system configuration information. Infrastructure-level processing can occur even though the site code does not contain a tracking script.

4. When you contact me
If you email shane@ch4lk.tech, your email address, message, and anything you choose to include will be available to me and processed by the email services involved in delivering the conversation. I use this information to respond and manage the discussion.
Please do not send sensitive student information, recordings, passwords, or other confidential information in an initial inquiry. I keep correspondence while it remains relevant to the conversation or an associated obligation. You can ask me to delete correspondence I hold.

This site links to GitHub and Cloudflare. Following an external link takes you to a service with its own policies and data practices. Email links open your chosen email application.
6. Questions and requests
For questions about information you have shared with CHALK, or to request access, correction, or deletion of correspondence I hold, email shane@ch4lk.tech. I will consider requests in light of the information I actually hold and applicable requirements.
7. Updates
I may update this notice as the website changes. The date above identifies the current version. New features that collect information will need corresponding disclosures.
